SHOEBOX Project is back on April 2, 2011!

Kali ini yang menjadi kotak  sepatu adalah TK/SD Yayasan Bintang Indonesia,

Pedongkelan – Jakarta Timur (CP: Ilham Bintang – 083896749844)

Sekilas informasi tentang mereka, TK/SD Yayasan Bintang Indonesia adalah

sebuah sekolah formal gratis untuk anak2 yang kurang mampu. Bangunan kecil

yang hanya terdiri dari 2 kelas digunakan bergantian oleh2 murid2 TK & SD

yang berjumlah kurang lebih 85 orang.

Dalam SHOEBOX Project 7 ini kami berencana untuk:

- Melakukan sedikit renovasi untuk memperlancar sirkulasi udara & cahaya

dengan memasang kipas angin dan membuat tambahan ventilasi.

- Membuat perpustakaan kecil untuk membudayakan kembali minat membaca sejak

dini.

- Membantu pengadaan alat2 kebersihan.

Terkait dengan konsep “Berikan kail, bukan ikannya”, tema kegiatan SHOEBOX

Project 7 adalah “Membudayakan (lagi) Membaca”. Oleh karena itu, di hari H

kami akan mengadakan acara story telling oleh anak2 tersebut, setelah

sebelumnya mereka diberi kesempatan untuk membaca buku yang sudah

ditentukan. Acara story telling ini rencananya akan dilakukan rutin 1x

seminggu selama sebulan. Mudah2an setelah itu, mereka jadi ketagihan untuk

terus membaca!

Total dana yang dibutuhkan diperkirakan sekitar Rp 30.000.000. Seperti

biasa, kami ingin mengajak teman2 untuk menyumbangkan (min) Rp 50.000.

Namun selain itu, kami juga ingin teman2 mulai menyumbang dalam bentuk

ajakan kepada kerabat & sahabat agar mereka mau ikut berpartisipasi dalam

SHOEBOX Project 7! Kehadiran teman2 di tgl 2 April 2011 juga kami tunggu

agar bisa melihat langsung kegiatan SHOEBOX Project itu sebenarnya seperti

apa.

Oiya, ada sedikit informasi tambahan dari SHOEBOX Project 6, total

sumbangan waktu itu mencapai Rp 48.215.468, terpakai Rp 28.090.301 dan

tersisa Rp 20.125.167. Ternyata sumbangan masih terus mengalir sehingga

kami bisa merealisasikan bantuan biaya sekolah selama 2 bulan dan pembelian

seragam bagi anak2 Panti Asuhan Adinda senilai Rp 24.100.000. Dengan

demikian, total bantuan yang diberikan untuk SHOEBOX Project 6 (untuk Panti

Werdha & Panti Asuhan) adalah Rp 52.190.301. Saldo saat ini adalah Rp

2.155.719,56.

Yuk yuk yuk ikutan SHOEBOX Project lagiiiii!! Karena berbagi itu kebutuhan,

bukan kewajiban, kita!

The event would be conducted at SILANG MONAS BARAT DAYA Jakarta Pusat and starting time is 5 am, while the starting time is 6.30.

You could register at the SPORT STATION Plaza Semanggi, the sooner the better …

and could be picking up your reebok shirt there…

There would be prizes of course and the total prizes up to 100 million and get DOOR PRIZES!!

Another day can be used for healthy running and socializing and it all again can be done in Jakarta.

Passing Bunderan HI before reaching out to monas

If you are tired of biking at the gym the whole time, with stationary bikes, either it is within your house or at the gym and you’re tired with the AC that the building has while you are biking and need some outdoor biking area just to relax and exercise, don’t worry Jakarta has the place:

you could go up to Sudirman street where you have your biking session on every Sunday morning.

The track is along the Sudirman street with the beginning if you are from Blok M , it starts from the Bunderan Senayan area and up to the Monas area.

MONAS

Sunday week 1, 2 and 3 the street would be car free from 6 am up to 9 pm

while on Sunday week four (every last week in a month) the street would be open for biking from 6 am up to 12 noon and usually there are many events there on the fourth week. Either it be performance on the street or up on the stage.

Therefore grab ur bike or maybe you would like to just jog around Sudirman, please enjoy with the rest of the people there. You would simply continue to the MONAS area .. and then have  a rest there or even enter the Monas .. take pictures and enjoying the Jakarta view from there.

There are a lot of traditional Indonesian food also on the way to MONAS such as KUE RANGI, the crunchy traditional food with coconut and brown sugar on top / simply coconut and white sugar, and also there is KUE APE with a shape rounded like bigged cooked egg, with taste of pandan etc.

You should try it sometimes and then perhaps continue to JCC where as they usually have exhibitions conducted in the weekends there, could be furniture exhibitions, educations, etc.

This event was on October 7th 2009, and was conducted by Kiranti where people gather and talk about media online , how the transition of traditional diaries to be online diaries such as the example here is diarykiranti.com.

It was held at Es Teler 77 Jakarta Selatan, near by Kentucky .. and it was

a nice place, served us with fried rice of salty fish, and also ice lemon tea.

The guest star was brand manager of kiranti and also Chichi one of among famous bloggers and there was also writer of NARCIS book ..

The one that came to the event was media from different kind of media and also bloggers from bloggers community.

However, the ghosts there were not dolls, were not made from hands… it is real and it can follow you… so scary.. My brother in law got his hat caught by one of the ghosts … (very ISENG ghost indeed ) hehehe…

yet since the ghosts are so close to us… could be an inch or two .. we become so stressed out and really wanna run out of the place asap,…

i went with 4 people) maximum 4 people to enter while usually its 2 people to enter (couples.. tell me why hehehe) and even with 4 people coming together doesnt mean it becomes not so scary at all

it makes it worse… all of us yelled … even the guy hehehe and all of us push each other want to go out asap however not also want to be the one in front because you don’t know what awaits you..

It was quite a short, breathtaking adrenalin … that makes you scream, yelled.. and sweat at the same time…

It was quite a lot of people since it was holiday but yet still, enjoyable, not long queue on the slides and it was great there are many foods also and the jumping tools like such they have in Bali. I felt myself like a kid again, i’ve been so adult for so long especially coz of working, this one day, not even the whole day, has refreshen my mind, has gotten me relax has making me a kid again for at least in a half day and that really boosts the mood for working in the next day.

The wave pool is cool, and the one slide that can carry on up to 4 to 5 if you are tiny is just amazing..

Remembering back then when i was almost get recruited to work in here, I will then get a tan everyday, i wanna be clean white not dark haha, .. the place is quite far from my home and  but yet reachable after tol of pantai indah kapuk.

I will never forget the most exciting experience there, and there were few scary slides also when you only uses your own body there and slides down to the pool.

Positive people and positive workers that work in there, because I lost my googles in the pool, yet there were lifeguards that search for it, though in the end i would only rely on their words to search for it (in my mind maybe it might be lost already) but yet at the end of the day it got back to me the googles.. so happy and satisfied also with their service.

There were also famous drinks and jumping tools that can get you so high up in the sky. the feeling really tickes you and really tickles my belly and it makes me laugh when it lifts me up..

such a fun experience and want to do it again ..
